Letters can also be obtained from a current school administrator, athletic coach and\/or visual\/performing art instructor.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Complete a Family Interview; To be scheduled once a complete application has been submitted<\/li>\n<li>Parent Commitment Form\u202f\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Photograph of Applicant\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Complete the academic baseline assessment process to be completed virtually by remote with online proctor monitoring (Gr 1-8). The purpose of this process is to inform teacher instruction and personalize student learning. Once your application has been submitted, you will receive an appointment for testing with instructions. Please call the office if your student will not be able to access the assessment remotely<\/li>\n<li>Current Immunization Records<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Additional\u00a0Criteria for Acceptance into\u202fDNA\u202ffor Students Entering Grades\u202f6-8<\/strong>\u202f\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Step\u202f1:<\/strong>\u202fComplete and submit the application, non-refundable application fee\u00a0of $100,\u00a0and all\u00a0\u00a0supporting materials by\u202f<strong>January\u202f31, 2021 <\/strong>if financial aid is being requested.\u202f\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step\u202f2:<\/strong>After receipt of your completed application and payment, the school\u00a0will\u00a0notify you by email of your exact interview and audition date and time. NOTE: To\u00a0maintain Covid-19 compliance, all interviews and auditions will be held\u00a0virtually based on school availability.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step\u202f3:<\/strong>The interview\/Audition Preparation Packet supporting material (i.e. Athletic performance film or Visual\/Performing Art portfolio) must be completed and submitted prior to your interview\/audition. Even as\u00a0appointments are virtual, please be on time for interview\/audition.\u00a0Students who log in late or who miss their appointment will need to\u00a0Reschedule.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step\u202f4:<\/strong>DNA will notify students by email and in writing of portfolio review\u00a0and\u00a0audition results within 6 weeks after the portfolio submission and audition has been completed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step\u202f5:<\/strong>\u202fIf accepted to\u202fDNA, the parent\/guardian will be sent an acceptance letter and an email\u00a0link to obtain your registration packet (hardcopy registration packets are available upon\u00a0request). The parent\/guardian must fully complete the registration packet and the student\u00a0and parent must sign the student\/parent contract.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step\u202f6:\u202f<\/strong>Both the registration packet and the student\/parent contract must be fully completed\u00a0and\u202freturned in person\u202fto DNA by the parent\/guardian in order for the student to be registered at the school. The registration packet needs to be returned by the final registration deadline. If this deadline is missed your child risks being put on the wait list if classes have filled.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step\u202f7:<\/strong>\u202f<\/p>\n<p>If the student is not accepted during the current school year, the student\u00a0may interview\/audition again the following school year. DNA requires\u00a0submission of a new Application and supporting materials each year.\u00a0A confirmed interview\/audition time will be sent to you after we\u00a0have received all completed paperwork.
